My now husband and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was awesome! Before finding this gem we searched through all of the many mainstream options the city of Rochester has to offer for restaurants and everything was the same; boring and overpriced. I then came across Toasted Bear Tavern, which happened to be the location of our first date 8.5 years ago. From my first communications with the manager Jesse he was amazing and eager to help. He went above and beyond, from meeting with us prior to the date to see the renovations and taste the outstanding food. To the night of the dinner, he was extremely easy going, flexible and personable. We would work with him and his staff again in a heartbeat! On top of the excellent service Jesse provided to make it a wonderful night, the food was out of this world. I heard so many times that night and even days later how awesome the food was and what a great time everyone had! I would recommend this place not only as a fun bar/ restaurant but also a great place to host a party.
Great atmosphere and the service is excellent. The specials are phenomenal. The wings are always a great choice. The bartenders go out of there way to provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere. I'd highly recommend.

Bartenders brandon and Andrew are phenomenal at what they do - good vibes and solid burgers and waffle fries! Lot of space and darts and a claw machine with good drink selection too!
Mike is the best cook and bartender. Very quick with service and attentive to customers needs, he’s the only reason I come in on Wednesday nights!
SEVERELY underrated spot in the wedge. Best Bills bar in Roc in my opinion. They do taco specials on Thursdays and comfort food specials on Sunday that will blow you away. The wings are always perfect, and staff is incredibly friendly. If you’re a Guinness drinker, Andrew pours an absolutely killer pint. Word on the street is they just got their entertainment license so keep an eye out for live music and karaoke nights. One of the wedge’s best kept secrets. When I die, bury me under the bear
